Overcoming Apartheid

UX research / UI design

As an early activity at the beginning of graduate school I collaborated with undergraduate students to work through the UX / UI process for a specific are within the digital humanities archive at Michigan State University. We developed user personas, user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes for user testing.

The digital humanities archive is immense and the portion we worked on was a compilation of images, documents, and videos pertaining to apartheid in South Africa. The goal was ease of access to complex historical information while simutaneously providing geographical context.
