I'm an artist, designer, and educator living in the Seattle area. I've been working as a designer for over 14 years, teaching as an assistant professor for 7, and I've been drawing and painting for just about as long as I've been able to hold a pencil.

I'm very passionate about working on teams that have real ownership of the work they produce, are able to collaborate effectively across disciplines, and are invested in continued personal and professional growth. I firmly believe that one of the hallmarks of success in the design industry is a commitment and openness to learning and sharing knowledge.

Outside of office hours you'll find me producing artwork in my studio, writing and playing music with my band, or enjoying a beer and playing video games. I've also taken up DMing Dungeons and Dragons campaigns for my friends, and I'm loving it! Roll for initiative!
